Today is off to a good start.  After about 2am, Penny was able to sleep much better.  The nurses let her sleep in this morning and didn't bother her until after 8am.  At her morning check-in with the new nurse, she reported no pain or nausea.

Things seem to be moving through the digestive system a bit better as well, so her diet has been advanced to full liquids and the G-tube has been clamped.  Cream of wheat has been ordered.  The goal is to see how well she tolerates the cream of wheat (and other things) today.  If things go well, we may be able to test the J-tube tomorrow or Saturday.
