Yesterday was pretty unpleasant. But things are looking better today. Compared with other blockages, this one seemed to come on more suddenly and painfully, and the scan suggests it may be in a different location. But it has also resolved more quickly than some other times. So thatβs good.
We have begun the liquid diet; we know this drill. The diet will be progressed gradually as long as things continue to go well.
Dr Lakhani was here a bit ago. He is hopeful we can reschedule the intake meeting for the new clinical trial for Monday. That implies he is hopeful for discharge tomorrow or first thing Monday. Weβll chat more about that tomorrow morning when he does rounds.
