The last of several teams that needed to sign off before discharge just left. Everyone is on board with discharge today and switching to oral antibiotics, and pain and nausea meds (as needed). Penny's looking forward to relaxing in her own space (and eating home cooked food). It usually takes a little while (sometime quite awhile) for the discharge to be processed, so it might be later this afternoon or this evening before we actually get home.
We'll likely meet with Dr Lakhani sometime next week to discuss next steps, but the current thought is to resume the current clinical trial, monitor things, and continue to explore other options.
