The treatment on Wednesday went much better than the previous two. Penny was pretty much back to normal the next day and has had a busy couple days of work, supported by a good appetite and reasonable energy levels.
Meanwhile, exploration of the possible new trial is going to move quickly. We have two appointments at the clinic next week (Monday and Wednesday), a CT scan will be done (timing still TBD), and possibly a biopsy. The initial screening makes it appear very likely that Penny will be accepted for the study, but we won't know that for sure until at least next week. It sounds like there is a pretty tight window to get all of this done and enter the study during a specific window of opportunity.
