Today was marked by checking off lots of little things that need to happen before heading home.
Since this afternoon Penny has been disconnected from all tubes, cords, IVs, etc. There have been no issues with nausea the last couple days, and the pain is tolerable.
Eating is going as well as it can on hospital food. We’ve progressed to things like bananas, cream of wheat, and boiled eggs.
No set backs. Inching along toward discharge.
