After a couple of weeks of funny behavior at PostHope, today the site says:

PostHope Service is Closed

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that PosthHope.org, our cherished community of support and hope, will be closing its doors after being online since 2011.

Over the years, we have witnessed countless stories of strength, resilience, and compassion within our community. Your courage and willingness to share your journeys have been the heart and soul of PosthHope.org. Together, we have built a space where love and support have flourished, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

While this chapter is coming to a close, the spirit of PosthHope.org will live on in the connections we’ve made and the memories we’ve created. We encourage you to stay in touch with one another, to continue offering the support that has made our community so special.

Thank you for being a part of the PosthHope.org family. Your presence has made a lasting impact, and we will always cherish the community we’ve built together.

With heartfelt gratitude,

The PosthHope.org Team

Sadly, there was no advanced notice to authors, so I wasn’t able to alert my followers, make plans for a transition, or save the posts I had made there.

After a busy week (watch for a future post), I’m trying to find a little time today to set up a new blog. Likely this won’t be as fancy and won’t include the ability to leave comments or get email notifications, but I will turn on the RSS feed. Or you can just check the site from time to time to see if there is a new post.

I’ve already add my post from June 24. I had written this only to discover I wasn’t able to post it. Fortunately I was able to copy and poste the post to a file on my laptop, so I still had it available to post here. And I just added a short post about our first day home on hospice. If I have time later today I’ll post about the last few days.
